Grand Opening of Panama Rose Antique & Vintage Shop

We’re excited to share that Panama Rose Antique & Vintage Shop is now open in beautiful downtown Smithville, Texas. Our grand opening took place on November 24, 2024, inside a fully restored 130-year-old mercantile building located at 216 Main Street, right in the heart of the Smithville Main Street shopping district.

Panama Rose was created as a labor of love and a tribute to owner Anne Dobson’s mother, whose passion for antiques lives on through every corner of the shop.

The journey to opening day was one filled with vision, hard work, and heart. Restoring the historic building took time, dedication, and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship. The grand opening celebration marked not just the launch of a business, but a meaningful moment shared with family and friends,  a proud milestone after months of planning and remodeling. It was a joyful reminder of how dreams, when nurtured with love, truly come to life.
