Panama Rose is a locally owned antique and vintage shop located in the heart of downtown Smithville, Texas. Founded by Anne Dobson, the shop was born out of a deep love for timeless treasures and a desire to honor the memory and spirit of her mother, whose appreciation for antiques and meaningful pieces continues to inspire everything we do.
Opening Panama Rose was truly a labor of love. The shop is housed inside a 130-year-old mercantile building that underwent months of thoughtful renovation to bring it back to life. With the help of family, friends, and the local community, we carefully restored the space. Our goal was to preserve its original charm while creating something new and welcoming. Every creaky floorboard and original window tells a story, and we are proud to carry that history forward.
Our shop is filled with curated collections of antique furniture, vintage home décor, collectible jewelry, artwork, glassware, and one-of-a-kind finds. Each piece has been hand-selected with care, offering our visitors a chance to bring home something special with a story of its own.
